How to Use Shilajit According to Ayurveda

This liquid super-concentrate is dosed at 10-20 drops into any beverage or directly, according to the label on the packaging.

Ideally, add to warm (heated) filtered drinking water (without chlorine) and drink on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes away from meals if shilajit is taken before). If you want to further increase the energy level of the elixir, it is recommended to add one teaspoon of honey. Therapeutically, one clove of garlic with honey crushed into small pieces is recommended to be washed down with Shilajit liquid.

Himalayan Shilajit can also be used with tea during the day, without adding sugar (always only honey).

According to Ayurveda, shilajit can also be taken with warm milk and honey an hour before bedtime.

If you find the aroma and taste of shilajit unappealing, Ayurveda recommends hiding it in a spoonful of rice or any food and consuming it normally, followed by a glass of water. However, its effectiveness is highest when taken alone and on an empty stomach.
