Cosmic Dealer is a French brand of functional foods and wellbeing rituals — nut butter chocolate, herbal coffee alternatives, teas and Ayurvedic tools. It was founded by Monique, an Australian who moved to Paris fifteen years ago.
It began as a reaction to ultra-processed food dressed up as health food. The brand states that it sweetens with dates instead of refined sugar, inulin or sugar alcohols, and that its entire ingredient list rests on four items — dark chocolate, nut butter, dates and cocoa butter, elevated with botanicals, fruit, flowers and spices. It is made in France, using low-intervention and artisanal methods; industrial additives, preservatives, artificial colours and flavours and palm oil do not, according to the brand, belong in the recipes.
