Which cookies the Liviny website uses — essential and analytics — their purpose, validity period and how to manage your consent.

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) we use on the Liviny website (liviny.cz), what they are for and how you stay in control of them.
Effective from 1 July 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They make it possible, for example, to keep the contents of your cart, remember that you are signed in, or secure a form submission. Some are essential for the website to work; others are used only with your consent.
Essential cookies (always active)
The website would not work without them, which is why they do not require consent:
- liviny_session — the contents of your shopping cart and your visit session.
- liviny_customer, liviny_customer_refresh — signing in to your customer account.
- csrf_token — protection of forms and the cart against misuse (CSRF).
- liviny_oauth_state — a short-lived safeguard used only while signing in with Google.
- locale — remembering the website language you chose (set when you switch languages, valid for 1 year).
We remember your consent choice directly in your browser (localStorage) — we do not store any additional cookie for it.
Cookie-free measurement
Our own visitor statistics and page speed measurement (Vercel Speed Insights) work without cookies — they store nothing on your device and cannot identify you. They therefore run on the basis of legitimate interest; you can stop our own statistics with the “Decline” button in the cookie bar. We require consent only for tools that store data on your device (PostHog — session recording).
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
These are activated only after you give consent in the cookie bar:
- PostHog — session recording used to improve the usability of the website. The data stays on servers in the EU, and sensitive fields (passwords, e-mails, addresses) are masked during recording.
We use no cookies for advertising or third-party targeting.
Consent and withdrawing it
On your first visit we offer you a cookie bar where you can give or decline consent to the optional cookies. You can change your decision at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Validity period
Essential cookies last for the duration of the session or for as long as the given function requires (for example, the duration of your sign-in). Analytics tools follow the period set by the respective service; once it expires, consent must be renewed.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete stored cookies at any time or block them in your browser settings. Restricting essential cookies may, however, affect the proper functioning of the website (for example, completing an order).
