Light across two spectra
Red light is delivered at wavelengths of 630, 660 and 670 nm, and near-infrared light at 810, 830 and 850 nm. Each Multi-Wavelength Dual Chip LED combines both spectra. A 30° beam angle directs the light towards the area in front of the device; Flicker-free technology limits flickering and pulsing in its light output.
Regular light care can be part of a ritual supporting recovery, vitality and the appearance of skin and hair. Red and near-infrared light complement each other and differ in how deeply they penetrate tissue. Choose the device size to suit the area you want to illuminate and the space available at home.
Controls and everyday comfort
A touchscreen and the free MITO LIGHT app for iOS and Android let you set session length and light intensity. Each of the six wavelengths can be adjusted individually. Features include four preset modes, saved favourite settings, evening ambient lighting and a sunrise-simulating light alarm with quiet-running fans.
WiFi allows compatible generation 4.0 and 5.0 panels to connect wirelessly and be controlled through one primary device.

Ritual — what to combine it with
How to use
The manufacturer describes a typical daily ritual of 10–20 minutes. Always choose the distance, intensity, session length and any restrictions according to the supplied manual. Irradiance values in the specifications were measured at a distance of 15 cm; they are not a universal set of usage instructions.
Connect the device to a suitable electricity supply and position it securely according to the manual. Protective glasses are included. Follow the manufacturer’s eye protection and safe-use instructions; the supplied manual takes priority over the brief description on this page.
Ritual
Set aside a quiet moment for regular care and rest. When choosing a location, consider secure positioning, an accessible socket and a comfortable posture. A larger illuminated area reduces the need to reposition the device between different parts of the body.

What light does the device use?
Six wavelengths in total: 630, 660, 670, 810, 830 and 850 nm. Shared Multi-Wavelength Dual Chip LEDs emit red and near-infrared light.
How large an area does this model illuminate?
Biohacker 5.0 illuminates approximately half the body. The exact device dimensions are 101.5 × 30.5 × 6.5 cm.
What is the irradiance?
A spectrometer measurement gives 82 mW/cm² at a distance of 15 cm. A solar meter gives 145 mW/cm² at the same distance; these are different measurement methods and the values should not be treated as interchangeable.
Can red and infrared light be used separately?
Yes. The device offers RED, NIR or both together.
Is a mobile app included?
Yes. The free MITO LIGHT app for iOS and Android adds control options and saved settings.
Can each wavelength be adjusted individually?
Yes. Each of the six wavelengths can be adjusted independently on this generation 5.0 panel.
How long should a session last?
The manufacturer describes 10–20 minutes per day. Refer to the supplied manual for the exact distance, duration and restrictions relevant to your use.
Is a stand included?

The power consumption of 589 W describes the mains electricity draw. The LED array’s nominal power of 1440 W is a different specification and does not describe electricity consumption.
Is the light flicker-free, and what warranty is offered?
The manufacturer specifies Flicker-free technology and a warranty of 3 years. Protective glasses are included; follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions when using the device.
What if I need to illuminate a larger area?
