Brand Story
The story and signature behind the brand
Mito Light is a Czech brand of panels and bulbs with red and near-infrared light. It is based in Plzeň, where it also has a showroom. It built its first prototype in 2019 and launched its own online shop in November of that year; since then it has passed through generations 1.0 to 5.0.
The interesting part is the engineering. In the higher generations it combines six wavelengths — 630, 660, 670, 810, 830 and 850 nanometres — and from generation 4.0 it uses a Multi-Wavelength Dual Chip. The diodes light continuously, without sub-threshold flicker; the brand states the irradiance for each model in milliwatts per square centimetre at a distance of fifteen centimetres. The products carry, according to the brand, CE, UKCA and RoHS marking documented by an independent European laboratory.
