Dosage and use
Give children from 3 to 12 years 14 drops daily. Children over 12 years may take 14–28 drops daily. Take with food at any time of day; the oil may be mixed into porridge or yoghurt, but not a drink, where it may cling to the sides of the glass. The dose may be adjusted individually on the advice of a doctor or nutrition professional. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Taste and format
The unflavoured variant contains no added flavouring and uses organic coconut MCT oil as its oil base. Its natural algal taste can be pronounced; the drops may be mixed into food or the lemon variant may be chosen instead. The lemon version uses organic lemon essential oil in place of MCT oil, while both variants provide the same amounts of active ingredients.
Quality and origin
The formula is 100% plant-based and vegan, free from GMO, sugar, colours and preservatives. According to the manufacturer, the microalgae are grown in a closed, controlled cycle. The manufacturer states that independent accredited laboratories test it to ISO 17025 for microbiological purity and heavy metals; a certificate of analysis is available on request.
