BrainMax Sleep Magnesium® – Complex for evening relaxation and restful sleep
The substances in the Sleep Magnesium® complex are carefully selected to support relaxation², normal psychological functions¹,³ and proper nervous system function¹,³.
It is based on magnesium in bisglycinate form – a highly absorbable chelated form in which the mineral is bound to the amino acid glycine. This makes it gentle on the body, prevents digestive discomfort and delivers it directly where it is needed – to cells and nervous tissue.
The entire complex is complemented by vitamin B6 in the active Pyridoxal-5-phosphate form (P-5-P), which contributes to normal nervous system function and supports magnesium utilisation in the body.
Why Sleep Magnesium® is exceptional
- MagChel® magnesium — premium chelated form with maximum absorption
- Active form of vitamin B6 (P-5-P) with high bioavailability
- Support for relaxation, recovery and restful sleep
- Normal nervous system and psychological function
- Magnesium contributes to the body's energy balance
Skin type & needs
Tested by an independent laboratory
Every batch of BrainMax Sleep Magnesium® is checked by an independent accredited laboratory that verifies the purity and precise amount of active ingredients.
Laboratory measurements in one capsule found:
💊 926 mg of a magnesium compound,
of which 174.9 mg is elemental magnesium.
We achieve this high content thanks to precise semi-automatic filling machines, which allow the maximum possible amount of the active ingredient to be placed in the capsule – without unnecessary fillers or compromises.
📄 The laboratory test report is available here.
Why is deep sleep so important?
Deep sleep is a key stage during which the body enters repair mode. This is when the most intensive cell regeneration and renewal of muscles, tissues and the nervous system take place.
🧠 Memory and concentration:
During deep sleep, information is transferred from short-term memory (the hippocampus) to long-term memory (the neocortex) – much like data moving from RAM to a hard drive.
💪 Growth hormone and recovery:
Up to 70 % of the total amount of growth hormone is secreted during deep sleep. This hormone is key to muscle growth and repair, cell renewal and maintaining firm, supple skin.
💤 Beauty and vitality:
Adequate production of growth hormone during sleep supports skin elasticity and reduces wrinkle formation. Conversely, a lack of deep sleep weakens regenerative processes, reduces vitality and accelerates ageing.
🧘♀️ Hormonal balance:
Deep sleep activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which calms the body, reduces stress and enables full recovery after physical and mental strain.
Why is the REM stage of sleep important?
The REM stage (Rapid Eye Movement) is the period when we experience our most vivid dreams. It is a stage in which the brain works almost as actively as during the day — breathing accelerates, the eyes move rapidly and the body remains relaxed.
🧠 Mental and emotional recovery:
During the REM stage, the brain processes experiences, emotions and stress from the previous day. Sufficient REM sleep is therefore essential for a stable mood, resilience to stress and mental balance. A lack of it is associated with an increased susceptibility to anxiety and depression.
💭 Cognitive function and memory:
The REM stage supports creativity, learning and long-term memory. This is when the brain “sorts” information, connects new knowledge with old and strengthens memory traces.
🥱 Sleep quality and fatigue:
Waking in the middle of the REM stage often leads to feelings of fatigue, drowsiness and loss of concentration. A lack of the REM stage – for example due to insufficient sleep (less than 6 hours) – means the body loses part of the regenerative cycle that restores cells, the mind and the nervous system.
🍷 Effects of alcohol and medication:
Alcohol and some sleeping medications suppress the REM stage, thereby reducing sleep quality. Although you may fall asleep faster after alcohol, the REM stage becomes shorter or occurs later – leading to frequent waking and shallow sleep.
Tested by an independent laboratory
We take the quality of Energy Magnesium® very seriously. Every batch is regularly tested in an independent accredited laboratory to ensure maximum purity and the precise amount of the active ingredient.
The results speak clearly:
1 capsule contains 1063 mg of a magnesium compound
of which 218.2 mg is elemental magnesium
This is why Energy Magnesium® ranks among the most concentrated and effective forms on the market. Special filling technology allows us to fit such a high amount of magnesium into a capsule, which is otherwise extremely challenging.
Which form of magnesium should you choose?
☀️ Morning – Energy Magnesium®
Contains magnesium malate, which supports energy metabolism and helps get the body and mind started for a new day.
🏋️ Afternoon – Performance Magnesium®
The combination of magnesium bisglycinate and vitamin B6 supports the nervous and muscular systems and helps reduce fatigue after a demanding day or physical activity.
🌙 Evening – Sleep Magnesium®
Contains magnesium bisglycinate and natural substances to support peaceful, deep sleep. Ideally, take it 30 minutes before bedtime.
Magnesium for calm muscles, nerves and mind
BrainMax Sleep Magnesium® contains the patented MagChel® blend – magnesium bisglycinate, in which magnesium is “wrapped” in two molecules of the amino acid glycine. This chelated form offers the highest bioavailability, excellent tolerability and no side effects in the form of diarrhoeal discomfort or stomach irritation.
MagChel® – intelligent magnesium transport:
Glycine acts as a natural carrier that allows magnesium to pass easily through the intestinal wall into the cells, where it can act.
Support for nerves, muscles and mental well-being:
Magnesium is essential for normal nervous system function, muscle relaxation and maintaining mental well-being.
Active form of vitamin B6 (P-5-P):
For even better magnesium utilisation, it is supplemented with vitamin B6 in its active Pyridoxal-5-phosphate form, which increases its absorption and also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Which form of magnesium should you choose?
Each part of the day calls for a different form of magnesium — depending on the processes currently taking place in the body.
Morning – Energy Magnesium®
Start the day with Energy Magnesium®, which contains magnesium malate. It naturally supports energy metabolism and is therefore ideal for activating the body in the morning.
Afternoon – Performance Magnesium®
After physical activity or during a demanding day, take Performance Magnesium® – a combination of magnesium bisglycinate and the active form of vitamin B6. It helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal muscle and nervous system function.
Evening – Sleep Magnesium®
Before bedtime, choose Sleep Magnesium®, which combines magnesium bisglycinate with substances such as GABA, L-theanine and sour cherry juice. This complex naturally supports evening relaxation, deep sleep and recovery of the body.
A clear mind and natural relaxation
L-Theanine is a unique amino acid naturally found in green tea leaves (Camellia sinensis). It is known for its ability to calm the mind without fatigue – helping release tension and improve concentration and cognitive function without causing drowsiness.
It supports alpha brain waves associated with a state of calm alertness – making L-theanine an ideal aid not only during demanding days but also in the evening before bedtime, when it naturally prepares the body and mind for deep, restorative sleep.
Dosage
Take 2 capsules 30 minutes before bedtime or 1 capsule during the day.
It is ideal to take them after training, in the afternoon or evening, when the body naturally enters the recovery stage.
💡 Tip:
For best absorption, take on an empty stomach – magnesium is absorbed much more effectively when the stomach is empty.
