The story and signature behind the brand
The French natural scientist René Quinton (1866–1925) devoted his scientific work to seawater and its role in living organisms, summarising it in his 1912 book L'eau de mer, milieu organique. His legacy continues today in the pharmaceutical laboratories in Alicante, Spain.
The manufacturer states that seawater is still drawn from the sites René Quinton himself selected, and is processed by cold microfiltration without heating, following the European Pharmacopoeia. According to the laboratories, the resulting plasma contains 78 minerals and trace elements. The range includes Isotonic and Hypertonic ampoules, nasal, eye and dermal sprays, and the Totum Sport line.
